The Electronic Federal Tax Payment System (EFTPS) is a free US Treasury Department service that allows business and individual taxpayers to make all their federal tax payments electronically 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through the Internet or by phone.
With this secure service, you can schedule your payment for tomorrow, or several months in advance; and you can check your payment history too.
Once you enroll, you’ll receive a confirmation package with your Personal Identification Number and instructions for using EFTPS.
